MTA 1373 - Blueprint Reading for Insulation

This course is a comprehensive guide to interpreting drawings commonIy found in the defense industry.  The students will develop an understanding of the different types, sizes, and parts of various drawings. Piping, HVAC, Hull Insulation and symbols will be presented. This course will provide Insulation Apprentices with basic information needed to install marine insulation on naval contracts and introduce computer and blueprint navigation using marine insulation blueprint.
