The Social & Behavioral Science and Human Services Cluster focuses on academic courses that will transfer while allowing the flexibility to explore options in a Social and Behavioral Science or Human Services major. For optimal advisement, a specific Social and Behavioral Science or Human Services major should be declared no later than the end of the first semester. The student and advisor should review the requirements of the university to which the student plans to transfer.
The Social & Behavioral Science and Human Services includes these majors:
Family and Consumer Science
Management of Child Nutrition Programs
Child and Family Studies
General Liberal Arts
Communication Studies and Theatre Arts
Developmental courses required as pre-requisite for a college level course do not count toward graduation.
In addition, students must prove computer competency as defined in the catalog for an Associate Degree.
Curricula are designed as guides for curriculum planning. Consult the University of your Choice for specific transfer requirements.
