The Stem Cluster focuses on academic courses that will transfer while allowing the flexibility to explore options in a stem major. For optimal advisement, a specific stem major should be declared no later than the end of the first semester. The student and advisor should review the requirements of the university to which the student plans to transfer.
The Stem Cluster includes these majors:
Computer Networking and Information Technology
Polymer Science Engineering
Earth System Science
Developmental courses required as pre-requisite for a college level course do not count toward graduation.
In addition, students must prove computer competency as defined in the catalog for an Associate Degree.
Curricula are designed as guides for curriculum planning. Consult the University of your Choice for specific transfer requirements.
