Personal/Family Services Navigator

The Personal/Family Services Navigator curriculum is a stackable credentialed 2-yr program of study that prepares the graduate to work in jobs with titles such as family specialist, community navigator, patient navigator, and community educator. As a certificate, diploma, and/or academic degree program, the Personal/Family Services Navigator concentration is designed to be compatible with a wide range of community health systems, state regulations, and personal and family services delivery models that recognize the value that services provide to enhance the wellness of individuals, families, and communities.

Freshman Year - Certificate


First Year – Certificate - Public Health Technology/Navigator with a Personal/Family Services Concentration

 

Sophomore Year - Diploma


Second Year Diploma - Public Health Technology/Navigator with a Personal/Family Services Concentration - Offered to Students with Public Health Technology/Navigator Certificate with a Personal/Family Services Concentration - One Semester Track

Second Year - Associate of Applied Science Degree


Second Year Diploma - Associate of Applied Science Degree - Offered to Students with Public Health Technology/Navigator Diploma in the Personal/Family Services Concentration - One Semester Track

*BIO 2514  Principles of Anatomy and Physiology I, Lecture and Laboratory or BIO 2524  Anatomy and Physiology II, Lecture and Laboratory may be substituted for BIO 1514 Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Lecture and Laboratory. A grade of C or higher is required in all Core Courses to remain in the program
