(Harrison County Campus)
The Construction Engineering Technology program is an instructional program designed to prepare graduates for employment within the construction industries and firms. Students completing the program will be prepared for jobs in supervision, estimating, construction layout, material handling, safety, leadership, and organization of construction projects. Construction Engineering Technology students learn about the design and construction phases of residential and commercial projects.
This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with an MGCCC advisor.
All students completing a career or technical program must complete an MGCCC Board-approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
