HPR 2723 - Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries

Theory and practice for a prospective athletic trainer or coach (or those interested in health/injury-related fields) in the prevention and care of athletic injuries.  A practical study of safety and first aid, taping, bandaging, use of massage, and the uses of heat, ice, and water in the treatment and prevention of injuries. Course also includes conditioning of athletes as to diet, rest, work, and proper methods of training in a variety of sports. (3,3,0).
