Learning Resources Center (LRC)
The Learning Resources Center (LRC) on the Jackson County Campus includes the Library, Learning Lab, and Media Center. The LRC provides services and resources that support the aims and objectives of the college, the individual needs of the students, and the courses and teaching methods of the faculty.
The Library provides a well-selected collection of print and electronic resources to support the educational programs of the college. A professional staff of librarians assists with the use of resources conducting library orientations and bibliographic instruction sessions to individual students and to classes upon instructor request. Electronic Resources include over 80 databases with access to millions of full-text articles, over 600,000 electronic books, and thousands of videos available to all students, faculty, and staff. Laptop computers available for student check-out are also provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
