NUR 1116 - Health Care Professionals to RN Transitional

Credit(s): 6

This course is designed to assist health care professionals to transition into the role of the registered nurse. The course focuses on nursing concepts and evidence based clinical decisions as the eight program constructs are introduced, assessed, developed, and expanded throughout the course. Upon successful completion, the student will matriculate into semester three of the ADN Program (5 week summer course). Prerequisites: Admission Criteria and coursework:  ENG 1113 ; ENG 1123 ; PSY 1513 ; BIO 2514 *; BIO 2524 ; BIO 2924 ; NUR 1115  (NUR 1115 is required of EMS-Paramedics and Respiratory Therapist-to-RN students only).
