PHT 1113 - Intro to Health Care & Public Health

This course will provide students with an overview of the population health approach to community and public health. Course topics include history, terminology, philosophy and ethical principles of community and public health. This course includes a review of public health policy, healthcare systems and the roles of health professionals. Prerequisites: Admission into one of the PHT/Navigator Concentrations.
