This course will provide a brief overview of healthcare law, introduction to health information systems as well as system integrations and provides knowledge of health record content and reporting requirements. Topics will include HIPAA, record content, electronic health record, data sets and reporting requirements. Pre/corequisites: Admission into one of the PHT/Navigator Concentrations.
