lnspection Fundamentals provides an introduction to coating specific structures, inspection of coating operations, government regulations affecting the coating industry, programmed painting, quality control for protective coatings projects, and coating failures. It allows for apprentices to develop knowledge and skill to reinforce attitudes and behaviors for preparing surfaces and applying coatings to specific structures, standard industry inspection methods used in coatings operations, government regulations that impact the coatings industry, aspects of designed programmed painting systems to provide for structural protection, quality control methods for good coating performance and those coating failures that may occur when quality control is lacking.
