EMS 1163 - Emergency Medical Technician I

This is an introductory course in the foundational concepts of the Emergency Medical Services. Lecture will include topics in the history of EMS, well-being of the EMT, medical-legal issues, communication, documentation, A&P, Pathophysiology, life-span development, patient assessment, and vital signs. Laboratory experience will include training in patient assessment and vital signs. (3,1,4)
