Data analysts formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Professionals in this field may collect and analyze data and develop decision-support software, services, or products. They may also develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with an MGCCC advisor.
All students completing a career or technical program must complete an MGCCC Board-approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
Students in the AI and Data Technology Program have the option to obtain the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Technology Certificate (16 hours) by successfully completing the following courses.
