(Harrison County Campus)
The successful completion of the Criminal Justice Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree will provide the student an opportunity for employment in local, state, and some federal law enforcement agencies such as state and federal probation and parole, correctional counseling, court services and administration, juvenile services, and private security. This program focuses primarily on criminal justice courses addressing different aspects of the field such as police, courts, and corrections.
This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with an MGCCC advisor.
All students completing a career or technical program must complete an MGCCC Board-approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
