NUR 2318 - Adult Health II Credit(s): 8
This course focuses on the care of adult and older adult clients with complex medical/surgical health problems. Emphasis is placed on helping clients and their families cope with alterations in body functions. Concepts of pharmacology, health promotion and education, evidence based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration will be integrated throughout the course. Clinical experiences provide the student an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe care to clients and selected groups in a variety of settings. Prerequisites: NUR 1118 ; NUR 1121 ; NUR 1131 ; NUR 1217 ; NUR 1223 ; ENG 1123 (8,4.4,10.8)
