(Harrison County Campus)

Auto Collision Repair Technology is an instructional program designed to prepare students for entry level into the collision repair, frame, and refinishing trade. Students will be taught theory and practical repair and refinish work, beginning with basic applications and progressing on to heavy-collision repairs requiring major body and frame alignment and panel replacement. The instruction includes all phases necessary to teach collision repair, including glass replacement, welding, replacement of hardware and trim items, cosmetic repairs, and structural repairs.

This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor.

All students completing a career or technical program must complete a MGCCC Board-approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
